Can Rescue™ Disinfectants be used on artificial turf?

Yes, Rescue™ generally has good compatibility with artificial turf, when used as directed.

Rescue™ is designed for use on hard, non-porous surfaces (such as stainless steel, treated hardwood, and most hard plastics). We would recommend first conducting a spot test on a small corner of the turf in order to observe if there will be any damage to the integrity of the material, before proceeding to disinfect the entire area.

When using the Rescue™ Concentrate for daily disinfection, we would recommend using the 1:64 dilution (2 oz/gallon of water) with a contact time of 5 minutes. For situations where you may have a suspected outbreak, we would recommend the stronger 1:16 dilution (8 oz/gallon of water) with a contact time of 5 minutes. Contact time is the amount of time Rescue™ should remain wet on the surface in order to achieve disinfection.

We would also recommend using a foaming application to apply the solution to the surface, in order to make sure that you are saturating the surface sufficiently in order to reach the required contact time.
