No, we do not recommend adding anything to Rescue™ disinfectants, including color or dye additives.
There are health risks associated with dye additives in formulations. Many dyes can contain trace amounts of chemicals that are known to be carcinogenic, and can be potential allergens. Most dyes contain various amounts of numerous chemicals (and the manufacturers of these dyes are very secretive about the formulations for intellectual property reasons). Therefore, we have no way of knowing exactly what is included within the dye formulation.
In order to ensure the safety profile of Rescue™ (non-toxic, non-sensitizing, non-irritating to eyes/skin), we opt to have dye-free products.
