Yes, our experience indicates that properly maintained septic systems can handle normal wastes generated from the use of Rescue™ Disinfectants in the facility. This is based on the use of the products in accordance with label-directed use.
The only active ingredient in Rescue™ is hydrogen peroxide, which breaks down into water and oxygen upon entering a sewer, septic system, or lagoon. Therefore, there should be no concerns for Rescue™ disposal through the septic system.
We encourage you to follow appropriate local guidelines when disposing of any chemical. If the local guidelines outline specific pH restrictions or limitations of particular ingredients, these guidelines must be followed.
